Luxury Bathroom Renovation — Glasgow
This was one of our most ambitious bathroom projects to date. The brief was simple: take a tired, outdated bathroom and turn it into something that felt genuinely luxurious. The customer wanted marble, black fittings, a freestanding bath and a dark ceiling with spotlights. We delivered every bit of it.
The project was carried out in Glasgow and involved a complete strip-out from scratch — right down to the floor joists and bare brick. From there, we built the whole room back up using aquaboard, large format marble effect tiles, new plumbing throughout and full electrical work including recessed LED spotlights in a black panel ceiling.
Before — The Starting Point
When we arrived on site, the bathroom was in a serious state. The floor had been lifted, exposing the original timber joists, old pipework and decades of debris underneath. The walls were stripped back to bare brick in places. There was nothing salvageable — everything came out.
During — Building It Back Up
Once the strip-out was complete, we started from scratch. New sub-floor, new pipework, aquaboard on all walls, steel profiles where needed. The aquaboard stage is critical — it has to be done properly before a single tile goes up, or you end up with damp problems down the line.

After — The Finished Result
The finished bathroom speaks for itself. Full marble effect tiles floor to ceiling on three walls, large format dark grey floor tiles, a black panel ceiling with recessed LED spotlights, freestanding bath with matt black taps, black vanity unit with vessel basin, round LED mirror, and a heated towel rail. Every fitting was chosen to complement the marble and black theme throughout.
The whole project — from first day on site to handover — was completed by our in-house team. No subcontractors, no delays waiting for separate trades.
