Bathroom Design Glasgow | HomeDecorZone
Planning a new bathroom in Glasgow? HomeDecorZone offers a complete bathroom design and installation service — from initial ideas through to a fully fitted, finished bathroom. We help you make the right decisions on layout, tiles, sanitaryware and fixtures, so the result looks great and works practically for your home and lifestyle.
Our Bathroom Design Process
Step 1 — Free Initial Consultation
We visit your property, take measurements and discuss what you’re looking for. We’ll look at the existing layout, drainage positions, window placement and any structural considerations. This gives us everything we need to plan your new bathroom properly. No charge, no obligation.
Step 2 — Layout & Design Discussion
Based on your brief and the constraints of the room, we’ll discuss layout options. In many cases, moving the toilet or basin to a new position opens up the space considerably. We advise on what’s practical and what’s possible within your budget — straight advice, no sales pressure.
Step 3 — Tile, Fixture & Sanitaryware Selection
This is where the design really takes shape. We’ll guide you through tile selection — format, colour, finish, pattern — as well as sanitaryware (toilet, basin, bath or shower tray) and fixtures (taps, shower system, heated towel rail, mirrors, accessories). We can source everything at trade prices, or you can supply your own — we’ll fit either.
Step 4 — Fixed Price Quote
Once the design is agreed, we provide a detailed written fixed-price quote covering all labour, materials and any associated works (plumbing, electrics, plastering). The price we quote is the price you pay — guaranteed.
Step 5 — Installation
Our team carries out the complete installation — strip-out, waterproofing, tiling, plumbing, electrics, fitting and finishing. One team, one point of contact. We typically complete a standard bathroom renovation in 5–10 working days.
Bathroom Design Styles We Work With
Contemporary / Modern
Clean lines, large-format tiles, wall-hung sanitaryware, frameless glass screens and matt black or brushed brass fixtures. Popular in West End flats and new-build properties.
Classic / Traditional
Freestanding baths, metro tiles, chrome fittings, and period-appropriate details. Works beautifully in Glasgow tenement flats where you want to respect the character of the building.
Luxury / Hotel-Style
Marble-effect porcelain, waterfall showers, freestanding baths, underfloor heating, and feature lighting. We can create a genuinely luxurious bathroom regardless of the size of the room.
Small Bathroom Design Glasgow
Many Glasgow properties — particularly tenement flats — have small bathrooms where every centimetre counts. Good bathroom design in a small space is actually more important, not less. Choosing the right layout, the right tile format and the right sanitaryware can make a small bathroom feel significantly more spacious and functional.
We have extensive experience designing and fitting small bathrooms in Glasgow flats. Some of the techniques we use include: larger format tiles (which reduce grout lines and make the space feel bigger), wall-hung sanitaryware (frees up floor space), recessed niches instead of bulky shelving, and frameless glass shower screens instead of shower curtains or framed enclosures.
En-Suite Design Glasgow
Adding an en-suite to a master bedroom is one of the most popular home improvements in Glasgow. A well-designed en-suite adds genuine value to your property and improves daily life considerably. We can design and install en-suites in spaces as small as 1.2m x 1.8m — often converting a wardrobe or part of a spare bedroom.
